Until we can grieve for our planet, we cannot love it.

- Joanna Macy

you are here because you care.
you love the little birds, the wise trees, the clean pristine seas, the tall mountains and the animals that run wild and free. you love the humans too, the stranger that gave you way, the unlikely samaritan that saved your day, the little kid that smiles and immediately hides behind their parent’s embrace. these precious beings and little moments are what remind you of your beating heart, the organ capable of love, hope and change.

this beating heart, because it is alive, it can feel joy, and it can also feel pain. you might remember a moment sitting in your couch, watching the ceaseless news that made your heart wrench, that made it beat in anger, that made it twist in helplessness.
you are not alone.

we are all here because we felt the same way. we were all grieving privately, but collectively. that is why we are called to be here. to represent as a voice for nature, as a fighter for all beings, animals and humans alike, as a force for good.

we can start anywhere, small, big, imperfectly. all of it matters.

if we are able to destroy this earth by collective micro action, then we can heal it by collective micro reparation.

don’t give up. no matter how grim it may seem, don’t give up on mother earth, the animal friends, the human tribe and your future.

lets do it together, hand in hand, heart to heart, and co-create the world we want to live in.

you will only protect what you love

how do we deepen our
love for mother earth?

so…

Having grown up as city kids, many of us live far away from the wild. The distance creates unfamiliarity and fears, limiting our capacity to develop a deep relationship with nature. This separation creates oblivion, disinterest and indifference until the crisis stares us in the face.

As humans, we carry an innate longing for affiliation with other beings and an intrinsic love for all living things. forget not; we are also a creation from love and part of this bigger web of inter-existence.

In a world driven by logic and facts, obsessed with productivity and the business of ‘doing’, we often live in our heads and forget that we are also living, breathing animals with intelligent bodies. We have learnt mostly with our heads, and very little with our body, heart and senses.

For the world to change, we must change.

Our love for nature must go beyond a fiery heart for activism, an appreciation of mountainscapes and waterfalls, and a dependency on nature for clean food and resources.

For us to feel deeply for Mother Earth, we have to break through our limitations of the head, open up our hearts, and allow ourselves to be moved deeply. To be touched by the trees, the river, the soil and the forest. To be enchanted by the birds, the bees and the creatures.

This, is why we are promoting the culture of
forest bathing.

Forest bathing allows us to re-assimilate ourselves in the wild, in a gentle and safe manner. While taking a slow & heartful walk between the trees, feeling our feet against the soil and listening to the songs of the birds, we awake the part in us that remembers our innate connection with the earth.

the earth has dreamed its evolution into being.
we are called to return to our roots and
re-member ourselves.
